Guest guest
Wow - good response, Joyce. Sounds like you (and I) need to pay lots of attention to what you are putting in your mouth. If you are "allowed" 150 carb grams daily, do you also have a top number for the total calorie intake daily? Joyce has basicallygone on a diabetic type diet in watching her carbs. I would if I went onPrednisone. First, you're highly likely to get diabetes and even more soif you don't diet. Second, the weight gain is a real issue and takingany care you can from the outset makes sense. In addition to the direct impacts on health that prednisone can have, the doctors need to recognize and warn as to the others such as weightand mood swings. Perhaps if they did that better up front, people couldminimize the impact.>>> From: worth hope2thend (AT) yahoo (DOT) com>> Subject: Re: Dr. Oz> To: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. . com> Date: Monday, December 14, 2009, 10:23 PM>>> Â>>>> Tell him I just started his diet plan, You on a Diet! Inorder to lose the weight I need to lose to get listed for myLung Transplant.> Â> C_53_Familial IPF_5/09, Washington> HOPE doesn't disappoint!>>>>>>>> From: Joyce T Rosenberg <pinkrockybeach@ yahoo.com>> To: breathe-support@ yahoogroups. com> Sent: Mon, December 14, 2009 8:51:20 AM> Subject: Dr. Oz>> Â>>>>>> Just want you to know that i have started writing to the Dr. Oz showabout pulmonary fibrosis. I would like to see this monster of adisease discussed on his show, thereby increasing public awareness..>>> Pink Joyce R (IPF 3/06)  IFA 5/09 Pennsylvania> Donate Life Listed 1/09 Inactive 4/09> www.transplantfund. org>
