Yet ANOTHER Iron question

Okay, I have another iron question. I know that many people have suggested

taking your iron/vitamin C when you get up in the middle of the night to potty

-- that way, they are by themselves for a few more hours until you get your

day started. Well, on my local list this was being discussed and someone came

back with the following:

> " I currently have three different types of iron preparations at home. On

> two,(Carbonyl not being one of them) it cautions one not to lay down within 30

> minutes of taking the supplement "

Does anyone know the " whys and wherefores " of this, and is it a problem? The

middle of the night routine has been pretty successful for many of my folks

but I don't want to be suggesting it if it's a problem.
