Newbie looking for advice about IV Remicade and yogurt makers.

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site. I was diagnosed with UC in Sept. of 2008. Until now it was

under control with Asacol and I didn't understand how bad this could get. My

symptoms a year ago were very mild. Now battling a bad flare for the last 5

months, I've had two blood transfusions, been on steroids and 6MP. My doctor

tells me that the IV Remicade is my only other option. My research has me

steering away from it. I've heard a lot of negative things about it. I've been

on the SCD diet for two weeks and plan to strictly stick with it. Can anyone

share their experience with Remicade?

P.S. Is scdkitchen.com the best place to get the yogurt maker and starter. I'm a

really bad cook and I'd rather have something easy than something that makes a

lot or is cheaper to make.
