Rash & difficulty swallowing

Hi everyone,

I don't pretend to know much about our various types of pulmonary fibrosis &

related diseases, but I was doing some research lately & came across some info

about issues that many of you have mentioned & asked questions about recently.

I'm specifically referring to 2 in particular:

--a major rash on the hands & /or other body parts

--difficulty swallowing

I keep running across mentions of both those things in people with

Dermatomyositis (DM) [but NOT Polymyositis (PM)], especially ones who also have

an interstitial lung disease. Some of them call the rash Gottron's rash or

Gottron's sign.

I know I've seen it on the Mayo Clinic & National Jewish websites, but a quick

google just now came up with the following websites mentioning them.

Don't know if this helps anyone, but I just kept thinking of those past postings
