Midline assymetry: is it just an illusion?

I'm 3 weeks post op from upper LeFort I, and lower push backward, and

before surgery, I had a midline assymetry (in other words, the space

between my upper 2 front teeth didn't line up with the space between

my lower front 2 teeth).

Now however, I could swear I have a different problem, and I just want

to know if anyone else noticed this as they healed. Now the spaces

between the upper 2 and lower 2 front teeth lines up perfectly, but I

fell like they don't line up with my face's midline. In other words,

if I were to use a pen to draw a line directly downward from the

center of my nose, it wouldn't line up with where the spaces between

my front upper and lower teeth align.

My doc thinks I'm the most neurotic patient ever, always concerned

with every little thing, and he assures me that everything is

progressing as it should -- but I still don't know about this! Did

anyone else notice something similar as they healed? Is it maybe just

exacerbated by my swelling, and will get better as the swelling

subsides??
