Guest guest
Hi Sharbear170, Are you sure the insurance won't cover it? I mean, is it an excluded benefit? I am going to give you a link to a post I wrote earlier today about some things to check on to make sure this is not covered. If it is coverable, it makes the whole thing so much less financially painful. Here is a link to that post: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/orthognathicsurgerysupport/messa ge/98257 If you click on " upthread " you will see others posts about this too. It will give you some more information to check on. If it turns out that it doesn't in fact cover you, there are many ways others have managed to do this or plan for it. Have you been to see an OS yet? That might give you a better insight into what is possible and if braces alone would be beneficial or not. In any case, there are many of us in similar situations as yourself. You came to the right place to find support and understanding about this. Welcome to the board!
