Guest guest
Katy, My questions would be: 1. Not all calories are equal. Can they do a little bit on the glycemic index of foods. What kind of calories do we want our RSS/SGA kids to have? For instance, what should we prefer - the wheat bread over the white bread; dairy over the fruit juice, etc?... 2. What are the most nutrionally dense foods out their that we can utilize in a school lunch? Store bought and/or home made. 3. Portion recommendations in snacks. 4. Food order. Connor would like to eat his mnm's first. 5. What can my son carry in his lunch box or on him to counter act a quick hypo-g attack? 6. Can they compose a chart that has BMI and calorie ratio's that would ideally fuel the child? For example, how many calories does an active three year old RSS boy need in a day? This changes based on their weight and height. This also changes if they have pancreatic insufficency. Any suggestions would be helpful. 7. Recipes are always good. Well, I don't have 10 questions, but these would be the best for me and my meal planning for Connor. Thanks,
