Guest guest
,Let me know what you find out because I too have had problems since the biopsy. Pain in my back and chest area. To: Breathe-Support Sent: Sun, January 3, 2010 12:10:15 PMSubject: I think I know the answer Good morning to you all. I don't remember if I had told you that I have had some trouble with my left side since I had that lung biopsy. I get pains that may last a couple of days every 2 weeks or so. My niece (Reg Nurse anesthetist) thinks that it is because of some nerves they hit when going in. But it is lasting longer then usual, and this morning I am coughing up some blood, not a lot. And the flem is pretty clear. I think I probably know the answers I'm going to get Thanks Gascoigne SD, 50 yrs old, Renaud's 2008, IPF 7/2009
Guest guest
, I hope you are getting in touch with your doctor. Coughing up blood is a serious symptom and should not be ignored. It could be something very minor or as posted it could be pneumonia. Don't wait to see what happens. Get medical attention and be safe! Guest guest
If you know the answers then why aren't you at ER now? I'm not trying to be funny, but when one coughs up blood is time to get to immediate medical help. It may be a false alarm but it may not be and you really can't afford to take such chances. As to the ongoing issues post VATS, I have pains from mine and its been 26 months. > > Good morning to you all. Coughing up blood is something to be acted upon in an emergency manner. > > > > Good morning to you all. Guest guest
, I second Bruce's advice. Get to the ER. You may be bleeding internally. Years ago my husband was spitting up blood. He wanted to ignore it, he felt fine, just sleepy. If he had gone to sleep he might never have woke up. He was bleeding internally. Do nowt fool around, go to the ER.
