Has anyone ever checked on the legality of canned products that are organic?

The organic industry (at least most of it) is much more careful about what they

put into their products. I found a marinara sauce at Trader Joe's that says: no

preservatives, no stabilizers, no starches, no sweeteners added, no artificial

colors or flavors.

Could this be legal?

Thank you,

Organic does not mean SCD legal.

You have to follow the same rules as any other product -- get it in

writing, on the company letterhead.

Trader Joe's will not, we have found in the past, give such letters

because much of what they have is produced for them by other companies

and put under their label.
