Guest guest
iel had his Growth hormone stimulation test done on Monday. They did Arginine & Insulin. I'm so glad it's over with. Now comes the wating for the results. He did not like having two I.v's at all!! He did really well though. They had to replace the one I.V. three times because he kept moving. It is such a hard test to put children through. The hardest part was watching him with his Blood sugar at it's lowest I think in the 20's. He just kept saying Mommie I feel weird, I feel funny. And then he said I just want to go to sleep, please let me lay down. Then they allowed him some juice because I guess it was getting to low. I seen all the color rush out of his face and realized how serious this test is even though it's just to check for GHD. Well on a funny note I have a baby who is in the 95th percentile and so everytime we meet people they always say how old is your son and I say seven; they say no way, he is just so teeny, he looks like he's four. And then they say how old is your baby about 6- 7 months and I say no he just made four months. Then they say how funny one's too small for his age and the other too big! Hope all your little one's are doing good especially emerence after her surgery and laikyn after that accident. But anyway there just kids you gotta love them, they keep life interesting.Anita mom to iel 7 (not yet diagnosed), Jordan 2.5, and 4 mos.
