Hey Folks,

Do any of you have your adorable RSS children on Raglan? Cehmical

name Metocloprmaide HCL 2mg dose?

After having the stomach flu, Connor's already sensitive gut is

agitated to the point where any activity makes him vomit. He's over

the flu, but now he urps or vomits when he plays, burps, runs,

sneezes and gets turned upside down. This has been " challenging " to

say the least.

Well, we had to get his Mic-key tube switched out (new model) and

the doc (who I really love) decided to put Connor on the Raglan. He

said it's used to speed up the motility in the stomach so that it

empties quicker and hence doesn't agitate the esophagus with

repeated vomits. Connor's Pyloric sphincter muscle is fine. We

really had his reflux under control and used the Prevacid as

needed. Now we need to add this drug to his " cocktail. "

The doc mentioned some side effects. Do any of your kids have these

side effects? He mentioned Parkinson like shaking but that is

easily stopped with a decrease in dosage. Does Raglan act funny

with the Periactin that he is on? How do you all get it down your

kids? Can you shoot it up the g-tube? How does it affect the

bowel's? Yes, I will speak with my pharmacits, but I really rely on

the families who are " in the trenches with me " to help me use this

drug on my RSS son.

FYI: Drug Cocktail includes Periactin 3.0 mls a.m. and p.m.;

Prevacid Packets as needed; Nutropin AQ .5 daily sq; Kindercal 5

cans daily.

Thanks for your time and info!

Mom to Graham 9 ADD; Cameron 6; Connor 3 RSS.
