Hi Maggie!!!

Welcome to the group! It's nice to meet other g-parents!! And what a GREAT

mom!! It's nice to know that you understand how much it would mean to your

daughter to be able to attend the convention. It is truly a life-changing

event!!

My name is Pat, and I am g-ma to . turned 4 this Dec. It

really does get easier, as they get older!! had a horrible first

year, and I can honestly say we feel blessed that it is behind us, and he's

moving along.

I also wanted to mention that MAGIC started a new grandparents group this

year. We had our first meeting at the Convention. It's called " Grandparents

for Growth " , and the people there are wonderfully supportive of each other.

We g-parents can be just as worried about our g-kids as their parents are,

plus we worry about our kids and all they're going through too! It's nice to

have others around that understand!

I see Dawna already posted the dates for the 2006 Convention, so I won't go

into detail.
