Guest guest
Hi Pam! The microcrystalline cellulose is okay. I am not sure about croscarmellose sodium. On the original pecanbread site it is listed as illegal: http://pecanbread.com/p/Sup1.html on the new site, it is omitted? http://www.pecanbread.com/supplements.html -Joanna SCD 9/2009, CD 1992, Lots of IV prednisone > > Does anyone know if these two fillers which are in so many medications are legal: microcrystalline cellulose and croscarmellose sodium? These are in many, many vitamins, minerals, etc. and recently I discovered they are both in my thyroid medication. I checked on the Pecanbread website but could find no information about these particular fillers. I also looked in BTVC but again, no info. Your help is much appreciated. > > Pam H. > chronic nausea >
Guest guest
The croscomellose is illegal, but Elaine said the benefits of the medication outweigh the illegal fillers. Some people get the compounded, which is nice, but not always available. I take thyroid medicine too. Have no idea what's in it, but would be worse off without it.
