Guest guest
Don't know about Dyane in Phoenix, but S Calif is getting blasted. We actually had several tornadoes this week, 2 in Orange Co. very close to me & Carroll, but both missed us, thank goodness. Tornadoes are pretty rare out here, but then again, so is this much rain. The rain this week has been unbelievable & it's still coming down. My back yard has almost completely flooded several days this week & the ground is pretty saturated. All the worms crawled up on my porch for safety but then the poor things dried up & died anyway. I wouldn't feel so sorry for them if they got in the house, which it looked like they were trying, but I guess they couldn't find any openings. Again, thank goodness. At least I don't live in the hills. If they don't start sliding down now, I'd be willing to bet they'll come down this spring. I'm amazed that people are still building homes on those hillsides. I haven't been outside in days, even when the rain stopped briefly, mainly because I don't want to damage the scooter I'm using for my broken heel. Cabin fever is definitely setting in, but it's supposed to stay dry this weekend. Sure hope so. Cees, S Calif IPF/UIP 10/08 > > Dyane are still a float? Guest guest
It's very very weird, people have no idea what 4.5 inches of rain will do to us in 2 days. Most YEARS we only get 4-7 inches of rain. Gonna take pictures. Dyane, 54, Phoenix, IIP 02 now NSIP 09, Breast Cancer, Psoriasis, Lipodermatosclerosis, Diabetes, and now a RA like autoimmune component, yadda yadda yadda."Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving is a pretty, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, chocolate in one hand, Margaritas in the other, loudly proclaiming "Holy **** What a ride!"."To: Breathe-Support Sent: Fri, January 22, 2010 2:32:17 PMSubject: Getting soggy Don't know about Dyane in Phoenix, but S Calif is getting blasted.
