Guest guest
Hi everyone, I've got one of those questions you hate to ask, but only you guys would know the answer to. I'll be 2 years out from surgery next month. Right from the beginning I had horrible problems with constipation; to the point that I had a trans vag ultra sound and my colon was so " swollen " that the ultra sound probe hit it and caused me a great deal of pain. Well, it seem now for about the past month, I've got the reverse problem. It seems I have to go constant and there is no formation of stool. I've also been having a very hard time with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. I was diagnosed with IBS before surgery and I'm wondering if anyone else has experience this before (I believe it's the fibro and CFS making the IBS act up). My biggest question is.... what can I do about it? And I'm so sorry to be gross, but the odor could knock you out!! It fills up my poor small house. I have candles burning all the time. Help! And, you would know if they did, because you would have had to provide them with -- how can this be put delicately -- a SAMPLE (and I don't mean of blood!). Yep, they have " tiptoe through the tulips " in order to find out if you have something nasty living in there. If they don't have any other ideas about what might be causing the change in your stool, then you should consider having this checked out. A bit embarrassing (bring it in in a brown paper bag -- in a container, of course!), but an easy test to do.
