Well, I just read your other post about the genetics appt. and all

that went on. Based on all you have been telling us, it was hard for

me NOT to think Summer had RSS. I know she is looking chunky. And,

I did just check out her pictures. I of course, can't say if she has

the look. There are some kids that don't really " look " like they

have RSS, but they do. I think Dr. H. has surprised some of us with

an RSS diagnosis or two that we didn't think would have it. And,

then she has said some don't have it, and we thought they might. So,

it is very different. I do think Summer has the embossed forehead.

But, that is just my opinion. And, I think she has the lower set

ears. But, others may think differently. Is there any way you can

see Dr. H? Are you planning to come to convention this year? I

think she would be the biggest solution to your questions. I think

it would be well worth it for you to see her, if only for her to say

Summer has RSS or no she doesn't, but maybe some other growth issue.

We weren't able to get a definitive answer as to whether had

RSS until we bit the bullet and went to New York. But, the

convention would be a great place for you to go and see Dr. H. I

hope you get some answers soon. I know you must be terribly worried

and frustrated. But, we are here and will help all we can.

Hi Jodi. Thanks so much for your honest opinion! I definitly plan

on seeing Dr. H this summer. I would have gone last year but Summer

was due within a few days of the convention! I am looking forward to

it.

hey katherine!!

i looked at the pics and in the close up one she reminds me aolt of

jennifer B.'s ashley. if you could i would try to get to see dr h

either in nyc or at convention. and if it is at convention i would try

to get there a few days earlier for the tues or wed. appt which are a

little longer. ((HUGS))

- the first thing I'm going to do is give you a BIG HUG

<SQUEEZ>. Next, I'm going to tell you - with lot's of love - to take

a deep breath, slow down and try really hard not to stress about all

of this. I think you are doing such a fabulous job with

Autumn and I know in my heart that you are the greatest mom - since

you know so much about RSS and what you have had to deal with with

Autumn - until you are able to find a " diagnosis " or some type of

reasons for Summer's differences - you will know what to do with

Summer because you already have the talents and intelligence on how to

deal with everything. Do what you think is right, continue to make

the great decisions you are making, continue to try to find the

answers - but, please - try not to stress about it all. Everything

will fall into place and you are doing everything you need to do to

make sure she is healthy. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hugs

to you - wish I was there to have a cup of tea or something and tell

you everything will be just fine.

Thanks for the advice. WE will be going to the convention, I will see

if I can't get an appt on one of those days.
