Guest guest
Anhydrous dicalcium phosphate is usually used as a tableting agent, or included in dietary supplements. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dicalcium_phosphate I would expect that most people will tolerate a supplement containing anhydrous dicalcium phosphate, but some will not. But there are some other ingredients in the probiotic you are checking that make it risky -- the “milk derivative” and the cellulose gum. If you are sensitive to dairy and casein, than this supplement is not for you, and the gum makes it problematic for our digestions. I suggest not using this probiotic, and choose to mail-order from one of the SCD-legal sources. GIProHealth, Kirkman Labs, Lucy’s Kitchen Shop, Custom Probiotics, all offer a SCD-legal L. Acidophilus supplement. There is a list of sources with links in the group Files. Kim M. Guest guest
Thanks Kim. Money is tight, so I was looking at things that were cheapest, but realize now I need to stick with what we know works.
