Guest guest
Just wanted to say hello to eveyone and let you know how I have progressed. I am 52, had my surgery on the 3rd of August. I feel great despite the residual numbness that I think is gradually going away. My mouth is nearly at a 3 finger opening, so my jaws are recovering nicely. My surgeon, Dr. s Sinn, is incredible, I would recommend him highly for anyone in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area. My orthodonist is Dr. ph Ainsworth, I would also recommend him. Together they have done,in my eyes, an awesome job and we aren't quite finished yet. I am so happy about the results. I can hardly believe that the lady in the mirror is me! I have some habits to break, like hiding behind my hand when I am talking. After years of smiling constantly to camaflouge that my lips would not easily close over my teeth, I have to think about smiling. Now my smile is more genuine as well as more attractive. I was not ever in a great amount of pain from the surgery, though I was very uncomfortable for a couple of weeks. I am now going from soft food to tougher foods and though I am not ready for steak can eat softer meats with care. If you have a surgery that is happening soon, I wish you fast healing and for those that are waiting may God grant you patience! Have a great day!
