Guest guest
Hey everyone... I caught a news bit on the Today show this morning. It talked about a 3 ft woman giving birth to a baby. I " m not sure is she carried to full turm.. but I believe the baby was 4 pounds when born. Did anyone hear this story? I wish I was able to catch more.. but I'll have to do some research on it... Guest guest
I saw it on the news too. It's called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, coincidentaly it's the same bone disorder that Olivia has the difference being that the lady has severe Type III and Olivia has very, very mild Type I. There are many OI'ers that have children both male and female of all severities. Have a good weekend everyone!! Leah, mom to , almost 11 and Olivia 6yrs, 23lbs, 36 " , RSS, OI > > Hey everyone... > > I caught a news bit on the Today show this morning. It talked about a 3 > ft woman giving birth to a baby. Guest guest
they took the baby early but I don't know if they said how early. The baby looked well though. She has osteogenesis imperfecta type 3 (sp?) and the baby did not inherit it. Her husband is a full-size man and she was using a wheelchair (not a hospital one...a custom one). deb
