Guest guest
Thanks Lori for the thought. My surgery is fine. I was transected, and can hold very little food...which tells me all is working fine. I hope you get yours fixed, and you have a happy ending. My ending is really happy, although it was happier than I had anticipated, before. I got below goal. But now I'm on the high end of normal...and am not liking it here. Especially when it seems my body just wants to save everything that goes down the tube....and I'm talking protein shakes for the most part. I'm doing everything I once did to lose 184 lbs...I haven't increased my intake, in fact, I've decreased it. I'm living in perpetual " starvation mode " and where I could see that would keep a person from losing, I don't understand the gain! I'm NOT really starving as I do 5-6 protein shakes a day. Very little food can get in past all that and 70 pills a day plus water. I hit the three year wall, HARD...and only wish I WAS doing something that I could quit! If it were a surgical failure, I couldn't afford to have it fixed anyway. But I'm convinced it is not. I had a very good one, by Dr's Fox and Oh. Only thing I'm wishing now is that I had gone more distal. But, I m sure, my body would catch on to that too eventually. Sigh. I have a 60 inch common channel, which SHOULD be perfectly good for maintaining my great weight loss. Regards~ Jacque " My cat knows the song in my heart and purrs it to me when my memory fails me. " I am so sorry that I missed this original post. I have been away for a few days. Have you considered having a scope done? I discovered a staple line disruption that was repaired this last Wednesday. I had gained some 50 lbs back after loosing 180. It certainly would be worth investigating.
