Guest guest
Hi Shirley, Sounds like you are progressing well in your recovery. Yes the triangle configuration is a bit weird. I have a triangle configuration and a square configuration on one side. I am so happy to hear all went well with your sleep apnea tests! Now you just have to train the bod that night time is sleep time! I did visit with my OS today. I still am banded tight on only one side, but the good news is that he has finally released me to go see my OD as soon as possible to get his input on if he is satisfied with the results and to fingers crossed change the upper wire that was cut during surgery along with removing the hooks. He did say my OD may want to leave the hooks in a bit longer if he wanted to do a little more work with the bands. So I am moving forward in this long journey getting closer to that finish line. Oh, and the best part is I am now allowed to start chewing. It's funny though because I am so use to this soft food diet that chewing doesn't even appeal to me right now. Maybe once the bands come out I will have a better appetite to dive into some good food. It's hard to fit anything in this mouth with the tight banding. Have a Great Trip & talk to you when you return. --Caboose > Hi All & June Buddies, Just an update from visit to OD & OS today. > All looks good. The amount of numbness left is minimal.
