However, I think many other forms of dwarfism have some sort of test to diagnose them either an x-ray, an ultrasound or a blood test. Except for the case of UPD #7 ( 2, #7 chromosomes from you) there is not test for RSS. It is usually diagnosed by the process of elimination i.e. everything else is ruled out and only RSS fits the characteristics. So that puts you with about 90% of us, we never really know for sure that our child has RSS but nothing else seems to fit. I hope this helps.
