Guest guest
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I'm toasting you with my Boost as I'm writing this.I'll bet that cheesecake and strawberry daquiri were delicious. I'm drooling ;-). How is the big 4-0? I'll be there in another year and a half. I don't know about you but one of the side benefits of the jaw surgeries is that making my jaw bigger tightened the skin on my face. All of my little wrinkles and crow's feet are gone. I've always looked young but now I look even younger. How is your knee now? That sounds really painful and worse than my jaw. At least I can run around. I don't really care if I can eat or not. I never have time at work to eat either. I bring Boost with me or 's Soup at hand. I sip on them throughout my shift. The other reason I don't attempt to eat at work is that I don't want my patients to see me with food all over my face. That wouldn't really make a good impression or inspire confidence. Between my braces and my size (5'0 " and 90 lb), people already think I'm twelve years old. I hope those pesky bands do the trick for you and you don't have to go to stronger bands. I wear loose bands during the day and tighter ones at night when I sleep and it seems to be working. My surgeon does give me more leeway with the bands. We've been doing this for so long that all he tells me now is " Put the bands in a class II configuration on the left and one on the right if you need to in a class III configuration. " The scary thing is I know what he is saying. I hope you had a great birthday and have a great weekend! Thanks for the cheering on. I need all the encouragement I can get. minirascal- > > > Hi all, > > > > > > I just got back from the OS. I am officially banded.
