Guest guest
Please tell us more - what did it do? Thicken? Soften? Make feel healthier? Moisten? What?? Amber/FL problems with hair On Saturday I went to get my hair cut and it was a mess from my recent hysterectomy. Of course there is no substitute for what we need nutritionally, etc. but the hairdresser used a product called CAT by Redken. This is some kind of protein conditioner you put on after washing your hair, left on it 10 mins and then rinsed it out. What a difference it made. I need to use it 1-3 times a week. It was 12.95 but to me worth the money, while I am waiting for my normal hair to come back. The smallest feline is a masterpiece. - Leonardo Da Vinci --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
It's hard to describe. My hair looked and felt like it was overprocessed. Of course getting it cut helped get rid of a lot of the split ends, I will admit. So a lot of it may have just been the cut itself. My hair also looked drab... mousy and it seems more vibrant ... that could be my imagination. It feels better. Texture. Not as dry, healthier. I used it again yesterday. It's a pain to wash the hair and condition, then spray this stuff in and then rinse it out again 10 minutes later. (jumping in and out of the shower as I don't feel I can thoroughly rinse my hair if I am not IN the shower) My hair feels soft. It does not feel like a brillo pad, if you know what I mean. The stylist told me too that it is important to use quality hair care products (not necessarily what you buy from the salon though) She told me NOT to use Suave. I mentioned that I had some Adrienne Arpel (from HSN Signature Club A) and she said that is good. Also I have Clinique and that is good. So far so good.. for me anyway. I have to tell you though that naturally I have really been lucky with my hair. In fact, yesterday my girls were commenting. I think I may have two gray hairs. I am 51 and don't need to color my hair. Last year I added some red just because I wanted to try a different color but I don't need to use anything.
