Hi Guys

Hope everyone is doing well both pre and post op. Congratulations

to all those who have just made it to the other side.

Apologises for not being around for a while ive just been helping my

mum and family move house and we havent had the internet -

nooooooooo!!!!!!!

A quick recap for those who dont know me. I had

upper/lower/RPE/sinus work to correct a class III underbite when i

was 17. I was also the first patient to have dissolveable plates

and screws, which hopefully should have gone now.

I had my 3 year anniversary on the 1st of august which i didnt even

twigg until half way through the day. I cant believe how fast time

flys partic when you arepost op or when you have a date for surgery!

Congratulations to all my surgery buddies from back in the day who

should all be hitting that 3 year mark pretty soon! hope your still

enjoying the new functioning you!

Right im off for a ganders to catch up on whats new.

A warm welcome to all the newbies to the site! the best place to be!

hehe.

Best wishes to you all.

Hi Kat,

Nice to hear from you again - Happy 3rd Anniversary !!!!

I just picked up a can of chocolate Ensure for my annual celebration -

my 3rd anniversary is the 27th of August (I fast as I did on my

original surgery day, then have that Ensure at around 12:30 or 1:30

pm, which is when I got back to my room from recovery).

I've been away a fair bit in the last 3 months, and I know how hard it

is to be without the internet. On the other hand, I seem to have

gotten a lot more done without it : )

Hope all is well with you and yours,

Hi Kat -- good to hear from you!

Glad all goes well, and that the dissolvable plates and screws worked

well for you. Maybe some day all surgeries will use them, and then

there may not be any incidents of infection or things having to be

removed. Wouldn't that be great!

I'm fine. I, too, have been busy lately (still doing major house

repairs, post-Hurricane Ivan) but all goes well.

Take care.
