Guest guest
Hey there... Dalia has had noticeable audible swallowing for months on end now and originally her GI said that it was nothing to worry about. I had asked about whether it was from the reflux and he said that the meds should be taking care of it. Anyway, I called last week and asked the nurse to consult with the doc again and see if we should be testing her for anything else...everyone always asks if Dalia has had a swallow study and I say " no, her GI didn't think it was necessary...like what would we do different with the info " ...and I wonder...but, in the meantime, now her GI asked to get an Upper GI and a Swallow/Motility study. So, we are doing it...but, I kind of remember that I needed to ask for the test to be done differently than usual..something about what she is supposed to drink during the test and the timing of things. Am I correct? If so, can someone tell me exactly what I should ask for? TIA, Sheryl (Dalia, RSS, 2 years old, 20 lbs, 31.25 in, and Hanna, non- RSS, 4 mos old)
