Hi Rita,

Sorry you are going through this. And thank you for the tip about

getting a post op blood level check. You are right, these are

routinely done before surgery, but more seldom performed post op. I

am putting it on my list of things to do.

I hope being on this new course will help your recovery go more

smoothly. Let us know how you progress from here.

Hi Rina,

I had my surgery upper, major nose reconstruction, cheek bone and bone graft

surgery May 6th. I have been allowed to eat solid food for the past 3 weeks but

I find it too painfull and stick to soft food. I am having other problems with

my jaw and need to see my maxillofacial surgeon about them.

I was diagnosed with anemia while in surgery, and I have been on medication for

it ever since as my iron levels won't go up. I have regular blood tests done.
