More on photos

For me, anyhow, the photos are working again. Now, this is gonna

sound like a sermon from a moderator, which I am not. But here goes:

Here is a reminder for all of us: to keep it working, be judicious

about posting photos. We all want to see each other, and we all want

to see what changes, but try to keep the photos small and few.

Alternatively, you can make your own site and post a link in the

links or files section, I'm told. I've never done that, but lots of

folks have, and I believe that by going that route you can put up

whatever you want, in whatever format and size, without causing any

troubles.

If you post GREAT BIG photos, though, in the section you visit by

clicking photos, you'll soak up all the space, and the photos page

won't work for any of us.

I'm also told that there's a simple way to change a large picture to

a small one, but someone with more expertise than I have will have to

explain how to do it.
