I am a teacher scheduled to have LeFort 1 mid-face reconstruction and

also lower jaw reduction over the Christmas holidays. Are there any

other teachers out there who have undergone similar surgery? If so, can

you tell me how long it was before you could perform your normal

classroom duties i.e. lecture normally for an entire schoolday? I have

to arrainge for substitutes if it will take longer than 3 weeks.
