MARIA AND NICO - FROM COLOMBIA

Dear All,

(Specially Jodi Z, Betty and ).

Thanks a lot for your email. You can't imagine how different I feel

knowing that there is a lot of people who feel the same way I do.

Yestarday I shared all the information with my husband and he feels

better now as he has been terribly depressed and sad by this situation.

My family: I have 26 years and I have been happily married for 5 years

with dario who is 33. After our third anniversary we decided it was

time to have a baby and Nicolas came with a very difficult pregnancy,

full of anxiety and doubts about the origin of his small size and

weight.

He is a lovely baby, full of energy, he usually eats well but always

fighting with the food and crying because ehat he usually wants to do

is play and play and that's it. Doctors say he has the size of a 7

month baby while he actually is 17 months. He loves being with other

kids and he is able to share his toys and behave properly. He is

really social and loves having visitors at home, showing them his room

and his toys. For us he is a miracle from God and we are really

committed to work along with him and do our best to take him on the

road as properly.

Jodi, I will find out about Periactin with my doctor and try to give

it to Nico. I will try to contact both doctors you suggested me; we

would probably travel to the States next year because of Nico and I

would love to see Dr. H. Betty it will be great to talk with you (in

Spanish!) about our sons. , please do send me the contact details

of the child ion Popayán. It will be really good to have someone known

really close who can share her knoeldge with me.

Thanks to all of you for the support. I hope someday I can meet you

all and share our experiences, doubts, happiness, etc. face to face.
