Hi charlotte

Im not sure if you will remember me, we were discussing the NHS a

few months back. I remember that you said that your op was on the

18th was that of july or august? I hope it went ok if you did have

it in july. And congrats too. How are you finding the NHS so far?

kind regards

HI Charlotte!

Nice to hear from you! No worries on the delay i dont get on here

much either!

Congratulations on making it to the " other side " ! Glad to hear that

you are doing well! How lucky are you to have your braces off

before you 18th! Congrats on that too! lol. Bet you are really

pleased about that and will be out celebrating in style with your

new found confidence! Great isnt it?

As for myself, i had my operation 3 years ago (you maybe got me

confused with another person on here). I had upper and lower, RPE

and sinus work to correct a class III under bite. Which surgery did

you have again? My mind has drawn a blank. Hehe. How long will it

be after your surgery to when you get your braces taken off? I had

my surgery on the 1st of august (2002) and had my train tracks off

in feb 2003. I wasnt totally brace free though as i had to and

still do wear a retainer. Do you have to have a retainer?

wow you can eat almost everything at this early stage! Im

impressed! I was on a strict liquid (blur) diet for 6 weeks and

then i had to eat a diet consisting of " MUSH " for the following 3

months. I think it was christmas dinner that i attempted to eat

solid food. I guess it goes on the type of surgery you have!

HMMM...

Im glad that you found the NHS good. Ive been with my ortho and

surgeon since i was 13 and have had no probs with the service. I

think that their great. I know that i wouldnt have been able to

afford the surgery if i went private! So i am really greatful for

them helping me!

Cool well i am going to go and check out the photo section as i

havent been able to in what seems like years! Congratulations again!

Nice to hear from you! Hope you continue to recover as well as your

doing!

Take care

Kind regards
