Guest guest
It is good to know that jojoba oil is helpful for rosacea. I’ve just started using jojoba oil to help with my extremely dry face, arms and hands, and am also hoping it will help with the chronic dermatitis (and contact dermatitis) on my hands. Unfortunately I may not be completely successful with my hands, however… I saw a dermatologist earlier this week who informed me I had seborrheic keratoses (not on my hands, but a few elsewhere, nothing can be done about that, unfortunately) but also that my hands are developing pre-cancerous lesions, due to the chronic dermatitis or just having such fair and thin skin or just my bad luck… I had several biopsies done on my hands (all these bandaids make things a bit tricky!!), and I’m waiting on results. I’ll probably be put on a chemo-therapy type of cream, but don’t know the details as yet. Good thing that my digestion is stable these days. And that I have learned how to cope with my deteriorating nervous system. [wry grin] Still, I am liking the jojoba oil and my skin also seems to be appreciating it. Thanks again to the folks here who suggested it. Kim M. SCD 6 years Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction 6+ years neurological & spinal deterioration 3+ years >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. It also talks about seborrheic dermatitis. Whether or not you wish to try their product, their suggestions for lifestyle changes were really helpful: http://www.rosacea-ltd.com/lifestyle.php3 In particular the use of jojoba oil as a moisturizer has made a huge difference, but many of the other suggestions have been great too.
