Guest guest
Tell your doctor that you want to go to the ILD clinic at UWMC. If he is a reputable doctor he will contact them and set it up for you. If he doesn't call them yourself. I can look up the number for you or and /sher also have it. It may take months to get an appointment. Sher and I both live out of state and we had to wait for 3 months in my case. I haven't gone yet. My appointment is the 30th. From what I hear it is well worth the wait. Lincare is good. I hope they can help you with the oxygen.Beverley Joy,71, UIP,NSIP 1-09,Diabetes,Sjogren's,Fibromyalgia Idaho From: Verizon Email <bofus6 (AT) verizon (DOT) net>Subject: Re: Re PattiTo: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. comDate: Thursday, December 17, 2009, 1:04 PM We are so lucky to be near a teaching hospital. There is one right here in Portland OR, about 15 miles from me but they are out of network for my ins. I am changing from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Med Advantage to Health Net this year and THEY do cover OHSU (Oregon Health Sciences University). However, I think I will stay with Dr Raghu in Seattle now. A 3 hr. drive is worth it to me now. While I still may end up with a diagnosis of IPF at least I will know I have done whatever I could to get an accurate evaluation.
