I don't know about using it too often, but I do know that you shouldn't use it

more than a few

days (I think I have heard 3?) because at some point it has a rebound effect and

it actually

causes MORE congestion. I'm sure this is NOT what you want to hear. I'm sorry.

Anyone else

know more about this?

I was obscenely lucky and had almost no congestion. I still don't know how that

happened...

I've heard that too, but my doctor told me not to worry about it and

to use it as frequently as I wanted. Since the congestion doesn't

usually last very long, using it every hour would be fine. I used

it for about the first 3 or 4 days very very frequently. Probably

at least once every couple of hours or so. But I never did over one

*squirt* each time. My congestion was mostly gone by day 4, but I

used it as a precautionary. I had no rebound affect. That, along

with a humidifier and a decongestant like Dimetapp, and it should

all be fine.
