Guest guest
, Thanks for your concerns regarding my family members..I am getting ready to contact my mom and dad in Baton Rouge to see how they faired the storm. I was up at 2am this morning and noticed Baton Rouge was under a tornado warning. I don't really know about any of my New Orleans relatives, but hopefully my mom will update me when I call her. I know what you mean about Biloxi being a very special place for you. I feel the same about New Orleans. At least we have the memories to hold onto until these areas are built back up again. It's hard because once they rebuild, it just is not the same. Yes, it will be better, but just not the memories we remember. I have had so many fond memories in New Orleans and keep looking back at pics of my hubby and I on Bourbon Street and other pics throughout New Orleans. The good thing is one thing mother nature can't take away from us is our memories!! Yes, my chewing is starting to get better. My OS was correct in that the more I chew the easier it gets. So I keep trying to add a little more chewing into the diet each day. It's funny because now I am craving my soft foods. I want my jar of H. Delight baby food...I can't win for losing..(haha) Anyway, I will update you on my family after I call them this evening. Keep me updated on the rebuilding of Biloxi!
