hi katherine!!

christopher had this done after he failed the stim test. they are

checking that his pituatary gland is functioning properly and that it

is normal size. good luck. let us know how you make out!! you have

so much going on girl!! ((HUGS))

- oh my heavens - just what you need, one more thing to

think about. I can't imagine....my thoughts and prayers are with

you - and lot's of hugs too. You know - I'm not totally familiar

with the purpose of this test, but I have heard of MRI's taking

place to determine the size of the pituitary - that has a lot to do

with growth as you know. Keep us posted please.

This is exactly what we are going through under the

care of Dr. H. " failed " her first blood work.

She is scheduled to go back the end of this month. If

she " fails " again, then the next step is an MRI of the

brain - looking at the pituitary gland. They want to

make sure that everything is okay with the pituitary

gland since they are in range for blood levels but not

growing.

Hey all,

One of the first things our old ped did long before we knew about RSS

was to do an MRI of Noah's Pit gland to rule out anything there.

Thanks for the replies...I feel better knowing it seems to be

protocall for growth issues.
