Fran,

I know exactly what you mean about resting your upper lip on the

brackets as if they were a ledge. I still do it sometimes and I've

worn braces a total of 11 years plus by now. I think it's an

unconcious effort on our behalf to give our inner lip area a break

from resting on the rough brackets. Anyway, just wanted to share

because your message really made me smile AND I caught myself

resting my upper lip on the brackets as I was reading. Crikey!

Glad you're getting used to the braces.
