Guest guest
Add in s. boulardii. Start with 1 and add until you feel a difference. Feel better Gitte. I know, I'm on the right path, but I would love to hear some experienced comments and hopefully some advice as to make it a little easier - but still effective. Any thoughts? Please? :-)
Guest guest
Hi Gitte, Good to hear from you. It sounds like your battle with yeast is going well. Perhaps, as Mara suggested, add in Saccharomyces boulardii, a community minded yeast that eats candida. Also, do you have Epsom salt available in Denmark? It is magnesium sulfate crystals. It is soothing to soak in a tub of warm water with 2 cups Epsom salts added. Soak 15 minutes. You can also just soak your feet in a tub with the Epsom salts and warm water. Apologies if you already know all this! For weight gain can you blenderize into bone broth soups any meat or vegetables that you tolerate? That would keep it liquid and easier for your digestion to handle. Hope you feel better soon! Guest guest
Thank you Mara and Carol for all good suggestions! I used to take S. Boulardii but ran out a while ago. I have to order the legal ones from the States, so when I heard (from someone here on the list) that it was a good idea to take breaks from it now and then and not use it all the time, I thought I would do that before ordering again. But perhaps the timing was wrong! I recently found epsom salt. I don't have a tub though, but I'll give the feet an experience :-) I'm making broth all the time anyway, and I could certainly try to blend in some things. Good idea! I also just bought an ice cream machine, so am making great yogurt ice cream. It's been like that for 2 months now. I was thinking perhaps to do another round of the one-week Diflucan cure. I did good with it the first time and it had a huge effect. Anybody tried doing that twice? I'm willing to cut corners at this time :-) Thanks again for answering!
