Guest guest
I don't regret having the surgery done at all. I suffered from teeth grinding, jaw popping and locking, constant headaches, and general eating problems as I wasn't able to bite into food properly or chew it either. Since the surgery all of the above problems are a thing of the past AND I have a much better profile now because I actually have a chin rather than the recessed one I had before which was also all dimpled up as a result of muscle strain from trying to over-compensate for my jaw malformation. And if I had to do it all over again I would. For me the surgery was worth it. But each one of us is different. Some people have a very difficult recovery and regret doing the surgery. My recovery was very easy although it did have its difficult moments but the results were worth all the difficulty. Best of luck in your decision. Guest guest
Hello, I'm five months post-op and have no regrets about having orthognathic surgery. My upper jaw stopped growing which meant my whole face didn't look right, I would have pain in my jaw and also headache's. I also had a small flat nose that was also corrected during surgery. So I have no regrets about the surgery! --------------------------------- Yahoo! Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
