according to my orthodontist, if you have braces and he's adjusting

your teeth, you shouldn't be pregnant. i'm not sure of this exactly,

but I asked him about being pregnant during my orthodontics and he

said if I were to get pregnant he would stop adjusting my teeth until

after the baby, then start up again. so, depending on how much

orthodontist work you need done after the surgery - it varies...could

be up to a year....you may have to wait until after that. you should

discuss this with both your surgeon and orthodontist.

I have a friend who goes to the same orthodontist as myself and she

had braces and got them adjusted through out her pregnancy. She got

her braces off just a week after her daughter was born.
