Letrozole .............and I am sooooo upset!

Help, can anyone help!

Our prayers were finally answered. Today, Dr. H has given ita a

script for something called Letrozole as/and/or a growth hormone!!!!

I cannot contain myself I am so excited because the doctors here in MI

and IL said her growing was done... and she would be 4ft 3 " and please

leave their offices ( o.k. not quite that blunt).

So I called the primary insurance and told them the name and they

asked me why it was scripted. All I knew to say was SGA and they

flatly told me NO, it is not approved for SGA. I then told them I

don't really know because I have no results for the rest of the

testing which was done.

Dr. H ran many different tests like the Igf series etc on my child so

perhaps I said the wrong thing.

Does anyone have experience with this drug? Can you tell me the main

reason it would be perscribed. Maybe it is because the primary which

is BcBs IL is fond of making denials and perhaps my insurance bcbs MI

will approve it. (My x has the lowest level insuraance a group can

get!)

I know Dr. Mercado or Dr. H will get back to me but can someone tell

me something about this drug please!!!!!!!!!!

The script only says Letrozole and I believe Dr. H was going to do a

separate script for a Growth Hormone, i think????
