It seems to be someone doing their own version of SCD. Guest guest
" Biofilm Carbohydrate Diet " a more aggressive approach that seems to be adopted by some of the autism community. It is a similar concept- getting rid of bad gut flora- but aggressive and based on the premise that gut bacteria live in biofilms that are hard to get rid of. There may be some overlap with SCD, but it is not SCD. It is NOT at all SCD, and crispy squash fries are absolutely SCD-legal, provided you don't include SCD-illegals. This is why combining diets is a bad idea -- you get throughly confused. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
Guest guest
There seems to be a limitless choice of diets for GI issues and ASD. Some of them are spinoffs of SCD, or contain elements of SCD. Trying to integrate all of them is impossible as they all contain conflicting information. If you choose to follow the SCD diet, it is best to stick with SCD resources while you are learning the ropes to avoid confusion. PJ > >I read throuh some. It's interesting.
