Hi,

Colin had his 5 year Ped check up today and the doctor reviewed his

bone age results that were taken on 11/7. It was averaged at 7 years.

He is showing no signs of adrenarche and his weight is only 14%ile. I

am unsure why it is advancing so rapidly this early on without

adrenarche going on and was hoping someone might have some insight for

me. We do have an Endo appt. in another month.

Thanks,

Colin (RSS, gtube) and Hayden - 5 year old twins

Grant - 23 months

,

Bloodwork needs to be done on Colin to see what his levels of certain

hormones are. It could be that he is in early stages of adrenarche,

just not showing them yet. I don't know all of the tests that need to

be done, however. Salem would know that.

- I'm not much help in this area - but, I hope you will keep

us posted and let us know what happens at his endo appointment. I

would even see (based on what Jodi Z said) if you could get some of

the tests done prior to your appointment as well - that way you will

have a chance to discuss everything as opposed to waiting for

another appointment after-the-fact. Just a thought. Let us know.
