Guest guest
So, after you'll have made the ice cream, what do you store it in? I find that the ice cream making container leaves it harder than I like. Do you put it in plastic containers? Or just leave it in the ice cream freezer container that you make it in? Guest guest
I use those 2-cup round, plastic ziploc containers with the screw on lid- they are called " twist n loc. " Ball Jars make a similar plastic 2-cup container for the freezer, but I find the lids don't seal as well because they screw on the inside. Guest guest
I have a bunch of silicon muffin cups that hold about 1/3 of a cup. I scoop all the ice cream into those, freeze, peel the ice cream out of the silicon cups, wrap each one in saran wrap, then throw them all in a freezer bag. I eat one everyday, so this is a handy way of doing it. Also, I get out my ice cream serving about 20 minutes before I want to eat it so that it has time to soften up a bit.
