Guest guest
Hi all I've been suffering from post-op ulcers since I was around 9 months out I think. At first the pain was mild but now I'm a year and a half out and the pain is worse. Early this morning I awoke to severe pain. It sorta feels like someone's been hammering you in the pouch with their fists. Anyway I stumbled downstairs to get some prilosec. I could barely think by the time I got downstairs because of the incredible pain! So here I am taking Prilosec - which works wonders for me - but I'm so miserable. Do ulcers ever heal and go away? Is there something a little healthier rather than this drug that I can take for them? (perhaps a natural remedy?) I have to be careful what I eat too. I mean some days I can eat some fried shrimp and some days if I eat it I'll suffer like never before. So I try to stay away from that stuff... Lately it seems whenever I put something in my tummy/pouch the ulcers feel it and they just let me know they are still there. Is there ANYTHING I can do?
