Pat, the sore back/side from coughing....

Pat -

I recently went to Emergency with a sharp pain after a " pop " in my side. I was

worried that I may have somehow torn an internal suture from my recent biopsy.

It turns out I simply had " torn " or injured an intercostal muscle (somewhere

around the rib cage). I could point to the specific location of the pain. The

doctors/technicians would press upon it and the pain would not increase

markedly, but when I would move, the pain was tremendous. They did xrays and

then prescribed a pain medication as well as an antibiotic (my wonderful sinus

infection which had caused a sneeze that caused the " pop " ). So, it may just be

an injured muscle that is giving you grief. I couldn't stand the pain (I found

it worse than the pain of the recovering biopsy surgery). Oh well, we are all

so different.

Just thought I would share.

(bad gag reflexes) Or should I just go somewhere local to buy it.
