Ken,The same thing happened to me, but it wasn't with Cipro. It was with Keflex when I had a UTI. I too thought it was very strange. My daughter even said something about it, so other people noticed too.Kathy ILD/Hypersensitivity pneumonitis 3/08Subject: CiproTo: Breathe-Support Date: Thursday, February 4, 2010, 11:46 AM

I recently was given Cipro(antibiotic) to take for 2 weeks for an infection. I have had th pf cough for some time. Did notice something odd and am planning to ask my doc about but was curious if anyone else has had the same experience. Within 2 days of starting the cipro, my cough almost stopped totally. Then within 2 days of finishing the course of cipro, my cough returned as normal. I find this very odd, infection left, cough only gone when on cipro. Has anyone else had an experience like this? thanks Ken, Grand Junction, Colorado

I will let you know what my docs say. I think it is odd that

antibiotics stop the pf cough when other things fail. Ken
