Dee - You mentioned you will be attempting to drive next week, and I

have a question: how soon after surgery is it okay to drive? Even

though my surgery isn't until next summer, I wonder about these

things, as I will probably need to get myself to my OMS for check-ups

once a week post-surgery and I don't think I will be having anyone

volunteering to be my chaffeur. My OMS's office is about six miles

from my house; as long as I'm not taking the liquid Hydrocodone I

think I'd be okay. I guess this is another question for my OMS, but

I'll save it for closer to the surgery; I've already asked him

some " humdingers " , but he doesn't seem to mind as he always has good

answers. Oh, and by the way, tomorrow is my " B./S. Day " (B is for

Brackets & S is for Spacers), so my Orthognathic Journey is finally

beginning! WooHoo!! Might have to take some of my Hydrocodone stash

tomorrow night if the spacers are too painful! Take care and get that

well-deserved rest! ~~ Diane (Idaho)
