Guest guest
Has anyone who had had surgery had problems with bruxism (grinding or clenching teeth while you sleep)? What has happened to you post surgery? Since it happens while you are asleep there isn't much you can do to stop it (except maybe valium). How has bruxism affected your recovery? Thanks,
Guest guest
My surgeon prefers to prescribe Elavil, which is an anti-depressant for night-time to stop grinding. I can't take that, so I take Ativan, which is sort of like valium - although by morning I think I'm probably still clenching.
