I just HAD to reply here. I THOUGHT I had gotten my gallbladder

removed when I had my rny 3 yrs ago. Then on Monday evening I got a

message from my PCP after reviewing the results of my pre op stuff -

the ultrasound found I had several gallstones. Apparently they are

of substantial style. I was baffled because my surgeon told me he

routinely removed the gallbladder when he did wls. I asked him how

could this be if my gallbladder was removed. He glibly responded, " I

guess gone today, here tomorrow " . HA! HA!

No, I did not ask the surgeon after my surgery if he removed it. Now

I think I'll have Dr. Oh do a survey during my revision & let me

know that my uterus, tubes, & ovaries are really gone.

So, if I had responded to this poll last week, my answer would have

been different. You guys better get your innerds surveyed. LOL

Oops - I meant the gallstones were of substantial size.

& the glib response came from my PCP. I have not spoken to my

surgeon about this.
